I am so very sorry to hear this, especially since it has been such a short time since you lost your dear Patzky!!! Isn't it amazing how our fur and feather babies burrow into our hearts forever?? I just lost my 31 year old cockatiel, Patch, on July 4th. He was with me more than half my life!!! I miss his greetings and his special little whistles. I will keep you all in my thoughts. I wish you peace!!!

Slidell is resting peacefully and lovingly in your hearts. My condolences to you both.

If I ever had a favorite of all the doggies(and that was hard)Slidell was the one, and I am so sad for you both and right now, and crying with love for dear Slidell. Big big hug to you and Richard. Thanks for writing your above beautiful conclusion to dog of doggies.

How difficult to lose two beloved pets in the course of a few months. Thinking of you...
